I worked for Hello! as a freelancer on numerous projects both from home and in-house.  I was Picture Editor of two fashion specials for them, a  cookery supplement & a full historical retrospective issue on Prince Philip. I worked on a  Prince Charles 60th Birthday special and have also worked   in-house providing ad-hoc holiday cover.

Commissioning Shoots: Including hiring of photographers, models stylists, studio’s and props, both in the UK and abroad & art directing as needed.

Negotiating all copyrights & fees, managing images & budgets

Managing a team of 2 -3 picture researchers.

It was my job to ensure all briefs had been met, all fees and copyrights negotiated & to work with the marketing department on all direct mail campaigns - choosing imagery & ultimately responsible for increasing revenue across both divisions.
